Just about to take delivery of 2 year old Macan with 3000 miles on it. Sadly it has 20 inch wheels with cross climate tyres which I fear will damage ride and not be good off road. I'd prefer 19inch with cross climates so if anyone has some, unmarked and of similar mileage, and wants to go bigger I might be interested in a swap. Need to try the 20s for a week or so to decide.

No need to worry about the 20s they're fine - Unless you're expecting serious winter weather. Neither do I think you'll discern any differences in overall ride. Apart from that I personally think they look better.

Echo Dandock's view; many on here are very happy with the ride with 20" all season tyres - give it a week or so and see how you get on....

My 20" all-seasons are fine around the potholes of Bucharest, and I had no problems on hard-packed snow in the Transylvanian hills over Xmas. (Took snow chains but didn't need them!)

I have 20" Sport Design wheels with All Season tyres. Personally, in comfort I find the ride too soft, so drive mine permanently with the suspension in Sport mode.

A general question about changing wheels/tyres? How does the TPMS system 'know' you have changed wheels or indeed tyres? Does it need to be re-programmed or 'linked' again? Never had to really think about this yet as my tyres are still good.

'Tyre type' is an option in the TPMS menu on the Multi-Function display.

As said above, I find 20" with all seasons just perfect :D
