It is the best Macan by a considerable margin.

Put it another way an Instructor in the same Turbo PP car could catch me in a 911 Carrera 4 GTS such is the awesomeness of the Turbo PP in the hands of a very skilled driver.

There are other explanations.......

NickH wrote: ↑Tue Jul 11, 2017 8:46 am Hi All

I'm Nick and I ordered a Macan Turbo Performance Pack back in Feb, due to pick up on 1st Sept (I have been told I could have it in about 10 days if I wanted, but will wait for new reg)

Anyone got a turbo PP yet? I have only driven the Turbo as nobody had a PP version to test drive.
I've had a PP for about 3 months. Previous car was a 'vanilla' Turbo.

The PP is noticeably quicker and delivers a more sporting drive. Chassis is a bit more agile and the car is configured to send more torque to the rear wheels (like the GTS) than other Macans. This is quite noticeable applying power when exiting a corner.

I find the ride quality better than that of the standard car. My PP has air and 21" wheels as did previous car so a like for like comparison. I am quite ride sensitive liking a firm but well controlled experience. The PP delivers this better, IMO, than my previous car.

Perceived ride quality is a personal thing; one man's firm and controlled is another's boneshaker. Also the number of wheels size / suspension combinations makes a definitive statement quite difficult.

I have heard the seat ventilation is good; but I seem to run 20 degrees hotter than anyone I know.

Great spec NickH.

I have seat ventilation in my Evoque (included with heated seats) which has been well used recently. I'm in the process of finalising my Macan spec and would love to include it, but for the use I would get in this country Β£700+ couldn't be justified. Plus I am already over budget πŸ˜’

Yep, the added ballast behind the rear axle will make the Macan handle so much more like a 911....

too late now!

I haven't has a spare in my last few cars, so not too worried, if I end up with a puncture, I will deal with it.
