I have always upgraded the Audio in all My audis to B&O as standard was not that good.
Go listen to the standard in the Macan My17 as older models were different from current and the Bose and you will decide. May save you some money or you may have to upgrade to burmister

Agree with a Paul the GTS interior is lovely and I have it but it's expensive so only if budget allows.

Beautiful and does tempt me to another silver car but am going to stick with Agate for now....

Love the interior but can't justify it...

Nope, not tried the two systems (I know, I know) but happy to spend a little more on it having had Bose or similar in a succession of Volvos and Audi...
I've listened to both standard and Bose and didnt think that Bose was worth the extra money. I also recommend listening to both before committing. You could save some money there.

Macan GTS - Agate Grey and Black leather
Usual options - pan roof, surround view, LED lights, spare wheel, heated seats and steering, 14 ways comfort seats, BOSE, light comfort package, speed limit display, storage pack, power steering plus....

Gone for the 20" Sport Design wheels as I didnt want black and didnt want 21s....

Ian
Looks like a good GTS to me, very much to my liking, esp the speed limit display, it's gives much more info in Europe incl the de-restricted sign when on some autobahns.
No mention of Privacy glass? Not specced on mine because I don't like the full black look on rear windows only. So I recently had window tints done all round, only 30% but looks good imo because all side windows are the same and from inside has a dark blue-ish colour. It adds UV protection and gives a slightly darker look, cost about ยฃ300. Easily removed at resale time or if you don't like it.

Thanks.

Will try the stereos and see.

Privacy glass - ticked it, took it off, added it back, took it off - had it on a Merc estate and it made reversing in the dark a pain. Don't have it on my Volvo estate and sometimes wish I did.

Will add it back in....factory fit as I don't want the front doing....

Brave of you to order one of the last of the current model, most would have waited a bit longer....
Sound advice, perhaps. I was speaking with Tewkesbury OPC this morning about the rumoured Macan facelift and was told that although they knew nothing! (and maybe the MOC knew more ) But that Porsche operated a 4 and 8 year cycle and 2018 does correspond with Porsche's year 4 cycle for facelifts.

The year 8 new model cycle would then take us to 2022 and presumably the fabled electronic version.
It's a car. It will be secondhand by the time I get it home. It will be an out of date model sometime after. I can live with that. Bought an E30 BMW when the E36 was being introduced - never regretted it.

Congrats on the order, Ian! Sounds like a 'classy' GTS spec. I think Agate Grey is a great colour and am glad that they brought it back on the Macan. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Given your comments on reds, maybe you would have liked the discontinued Impulse Red?

I'm also in the no to Bose camp. I like my music and wasn't that impressed with Bose. The standard system sounds just fine and anyway you will be listening to your exhaust noises or just switching all off and enjoy a quiet smooth drive.

The GTS interior is nice but all it's adds over the full leather is coloured stiching, coloured dials and seat belts. Otherwise your ยฃ1k gets you the full leather interior with plenty of nice smelling leather everywhere.

So drop the Bose and go leather is my thought.
