Standard cruise also has a speed limiter function (which you loose with ACC) which
I find useful on unfamiliar 50 mph rated A roads for example, where you're forever changing speeds depending on tractors / junctions etc; set the max speed and you can't accelerate past it without a real hard kick-down.

Fantastic spec. Everything and a little bit more for some superb enjoyment. 👍

It's a keeper 😊

I used the ACC on a Cayenne I had as a loaner whilst waiting for my car. I thought it was excellent and would definitely spec it on my next car. For the 40/50mph roads heading out of London with busy traffic and lots of speed cameras, it made for a very relaxing drive.

I think I will keep it in the spec. I do those same roads every few weeks and you can't use normal cruise until the traffic thins out.

That's a lovely looking spec pretty much everything I would go for (except 21s which look great but compromise the ride too much IMO at least on the roads around here) plus a few nice things (white dials etc) I'd probably have added to mine had the budget been available.

Re ACC I had it on my BMW 3er and it was one of the first boxes I ticked on the Macan. It's absolutely great, a little bit quicker than the BMW system detecting traffic moving our of your way. Only slight frustration is the loss of speed limiter and it immediately goes into "hold" mode the instant it is stationary (requiring a poke on the gas to get going again) whereas the BMW would still pick up again after a few seconds stationary. Minor point though - its a brilliant way of making driving tolerable on congested roads.

Thanks, I think that I will take a risk on the 21's as I currently have 22's and I hope that it won't be too different. As much as anything, I think the standard spider design will drive me mad keeping them clean! When I lock down the spec. the wheels will be standard 21" sport classic design which the dealer is going to paint black. Otherwise you get the silver edge against the tyre wall, which I am not keen on.
Regarding the speed limiter, I currently have that, but have probably used it twice in 3 years, so I don't mind losing it.

I know we have a few ultra sensitive souls on here who can't stand large wheels but I find no problems with 21s. Compared to most BMWs the ride will be a great improvement. Classics a doddle to keep clean, even inner rim not an issue. It looks a completely different car with 21s filling the arches properly.

Great looking car but then I would say that as it's identical to mine. Definitely stick to the 21s as they look great and the ride is not at all harsh. Only issue I have is with the gloss black wheels as they don't stay glossy looking for too long and I clean my car obsessively. If painting the wheels you have a choice of finish so perhaps something else could be preferable.
If staying gloss black I would just go factory standard with the polished rim at edge. It does look pretty good and breaks up the wheel moulding into tyre all black look.
