Gulp. I hope they tune the suspension to go with the massive per-corner weight loss!

So if anyone with these carbon wheels if they kerb one does the whole wheel shatter a la F1 impacts?

F1 wheels are made of a magnesium alloy.
But if you mean the carbon fibre used in the bodywork, maybe, but probably not do due the multi-direction stresses they'd have to deal with.
Looks like they're made from hardened CFRP and a weird braid for the rims.

The only thing sure to shatter is your bank balance :)

There is YouTube video of them being made, and they are full carbon fibre construction. Hence the price!!

Yellow on a 911, maybe. On a Macan, I don't think so. On a Cayenne, Noooo!
