Thanks for all the advice.

I have kept the £2.5k and will be added to the next car fund.

I have also purchased wheel centres of the web for £20 and they look great.

The car is great and amazingly achieving 25 mpg which is above my expected 22 !

I can't believe you didn't get wheel centres replaced FOC. Sometimes Porsche really make themselves look like money-grabbing plonkers!

Agree - what would it have cost them to replace them and keep the customer happy for potentially some repeat custom!

When I bought my first 991 GTS from Bolton which was their demo - I got home to find that one of the wheels was scuffed and the side wall rubber was also slightly scuffed. Took it back the next day and they refurbed the alloy and put a new tyre on for free. Not surprisingly I have given them lots more business.

Like any form of business it pays to develop long term relationships!
