Coming straight out of a Boxster I would choose a petrol Macan. But depends how much of a petrol head you are.

Welcome Missile.
Look forward to your code. You are certainly in the right place for plenty of advice
Are you planning on your Red theme for the Macan?

I'll bet the new car will be red? Am I right?

Alas the typre of red on your Audi (which looks like Misano) is not available on a Macan, unless you go with an expensive custom option, the only red for a Macan is Carmine and you will want to park your Audi next to a Carmine Red Macan to compare the two very different colours before you decide.
To match or better your SQ5 straight line performance a Turbo or GTS will more than match it an S will be very similar. On the 0-60 dash an SD would be about 15m behind.
The SQ5 driver who recently tried to keep pace with my Turbo failed miserably such is the awesome Turbo performance.
Handling is another matter, all Macans will ride and handle better than your SQ5.

Hi,
Thanks again for your comments and suggestions.
The SQ5 handles very well for an SUV and I will certainly miss the growl. I will not miss the inherent understeer which most Audis suffer. I was surprised that the Macan is not noticeably any slower and has a much better feel. The "office" is a far nicer place to be.
My code is here http://www.porsche-code.com/PJ4BR5K6 I am trying to keep price below £60,000 but would appreciate your advice on what options I may have missed and regret not ordering.
I am torn whether to opt for All Season tyres? I have read the comments from members who seem equally divided on this option. I tend to feel if one drives to the road conditions and perhaps AS are not for me. I did purchase winter tyres for my Audi. They provided better winter grip, but I was rather disappointed at what I perceived to be the soft feel / not so sharp handling.

I really like your choice of wheel, but as above I would spec PASM all the way with 20" rims.
