Hi all,

I have recently purchased a new Macan S Diesel from the new Porsche Teesside centre.

I am moving from a faulty, horrific 2016 Jaguar XF. Got rid after so many issues and have an ongoing case with trading standards.

Hope the Macan is better. The test drive was incredible and I just can't wait to pick the car up.
Expected delivery is end of September :D

What issues wasn't I having!

1st: Drivers side door dropped and got stuck
2nd: Boot mis-aligned, hit bumper
3rd: New boot seal, couldn't close boot
4th: Rear door filled with water
5th: TPMS went haywire
5th: Bluetooth connection failing (3 repairs unable to fix)
6th: Electronic Parking Brake - would not disengage
7th: Electronic Parking Brake - engaged at 30mph (unable to fix due to lack of fault codes).
8th: Dealership said car was safe to drive and no faults were present - rejected vehicle (still fighting).

So quite a past in 16 months!

Welcome. :D

Not too long to wait for your Macan - it is a brilliant machine and hopefully trouble free.

Remember to post some photos.

Is it just me who literally feels sad every day that goes by and I don't have it yet??
Time cannot go quick enough.

My spec is kind of basic, but it's my first ever Porsche!

Ha ha yeah make sure you give it a good run otherwise you may end up with the dreaded DPF warning like i did, albeit has brought forward my plan of upgrading to a petrol 2 years early courtesy of some fantastic customer service from the OPC
