This always interests me because I keep my cars for years. Do you always buy new? Does it cost you a fortune? Or by getting rarer/new models do you somehow manage to sell without much loss? Maybe I need to rethink my car buying strategy - or maybe not!

Mexico blue is very distinctive - suits a Porsche.

I always buy new, but try and buy something in demand...if there's something available with a big discount then it will invariably continue to depreciate....although this isn't set in stone as markets / demand can change. Don't buy something near the end of it's life cycle either. I am however in the enviable position of being able to retail my cars, offer finance and take a part exchange. Don't think I would be quite as 'cocky' if I wasn't in the trade.
