Hi everyone. I've ordered myself a Sapphire Blue SD - deposit paid a week last Friday. I was completely smitten after my extended test drive but wondered whether I should wait for the face-lift or go with this model. Decided to buy now, as from what I've seen so far on face-lift, there's nothing I can't live without.

The Macan will replace a 2011 C250 CDI Sport. We also have a 2014 BMW X5 in the family. The spec on these has influenced what I've added to my build - between the two I have experience of living with most options. However, I've read some interesting perspectives here too - for example I wouldn't have thought of 'smokers pack' for that clean look, had it not been for the forum.

Build Code: PJ1TVCE9

One thing I can't show on the build code is that my wheels will be painted gloss black.

Now the wait. Thanks to 'diesel gate' probably much shorter than it would have been ordinarily. Should get it next month :D :D.
Looking forward to my invite to the PEC for my 'personalisation' session in the meantime.

Welcome

That is quite a build you have there, its probably one of the most expensive SDs we have seen.

Build is 6 weeks from the OPCs lockdown of the spec, then delivery is in the range 7-30 days with 20 days being the average.

Wow, mega spec. Congratulations, it'll be fabulous. And Sapphire Blue is amazing. I've had mine (petrol) 10 days and it just looks gorgeous in all lights and all weathers. Good idea to get the model designation in black, that works so well with SB and the high gloss black exterior. I opted for the painted rear mid section too - you can't get enough SB.😍

I see that you have specced the towbar system - are you towing a trailer and/or a caravan?
