Thanks, Col. I know the carbon is a bit of an extravagance but it really does lift the overall appearance both visually (imo) and in how it relates to what Porsche are about. And for me the red just had to be.

That looks fabulous dandock, It looks like the extra carbon and leather lift it again. I think that's sold me on the colour combination 😎👍

Is that front lip spoiler standard? Can't remember ever seeing that before.

Thanks for the tips Col, the x3 is no comparison I know, the handling isn't terrible but I'm sure there will be no match for the macan, I only have the standard m sport suspension on the x3. I've read that the media stuff is probably a litttle lacking, but to be honest I don't use most of the features on that x3, it will not do anything I ask on the voice control so I gave up 😂

Yes, it was added as a wonderful free extra (NOT) about 2 years ago during a year model change to the base and S models.

To remove it you have to have the Sport Design Package or front Stainless Steel skid plate £371

If you do go for the partial garnet as both Mike (Dandock) and I have in our respective Macans do search out a car equipted with the combo and have a close look to be sure. There are some OCDs who dislike the partials specifically because of the difference in materials.

Like I said I have the partial garnet which I love but it does give a bit of a materials mis match inside.

If you look at a full garnet then a partial garnet and then subtract the areas covered in partial then it is there areas which would look so much better if they were black leather to match the dashboard top, it would be a great option.

Just my opinion but the full garnet is just too much. Like all good art - less is more. So think of the partial garnet as more Eric Clapton than Lindsey Buckingham 😉

Agreed I looked at an approved white 991.2 at Leeds, it has full red interior and it's a bit too much for me too
