My 911 didn't have a full tank when I went to collect it. Pointed it out and told them to fill it up. No problem and 8 litres later it was sorted.

What I think they do is try to fill the car so that the gauge reads full (not in your case Northandy) and if they can save say 5litres per car that's a lot of money over the year

They can impact on CSI holdback....it depends on the manufacturer and their particular standards.
You’d have to suppose (re the half filled tank) that someone somewhere had done the sums.....
