Wish I'd gone down this route now! My 2 month old SD with £17k worth of extras, is now worth just the base price? This is more than likely my last 'new', new car?

No different to any other brand and still better than most.

Unless you plan to sell it today it shouldn’t matter.

That's my problem, I did want out of it (shoddy decision making on my part) and into a GTS for the engine mainly, but I can't justify (or afford) the losses (bear in mind the OPC like another £8k for their part), unfortunately. My C2S lost £25k in 2 years and my 981 lost £7k pa or 43% over 4 years, so not sure if the brand is much of a depreciation beater anymore? My biggest gaff was selling my GT3 (for what seemed pretty reasonable depreciation) about 12 months before the prices soared! I have tried buying cash and PCP to try to hang onto more of the equity without success, so next time I think I will try leasing and just write it off as it goes along?

Thanks once again folks.

Finally decided on the SD and bought this one today.

Got the dealer to change the wheels for the RS Spyder Design in satin Black and will be picking it up once ready.

I think it's a great spec but obviously I'm still learning.

Be ready for more newbie question, but I promise not to ask "what oil does it take?"

SAC1 wrote: Mon Jan 01, 2018 7:45 pm Hi BHT, that sure is a huge spec on the 6m. old SD - £48,289 RRP now + £20,711 of extras - wow over 40%. No wonder they're knocking £15k off the price. I'd push for more. How many miles has it done? If it got the spec / colour you desire then go for it. ....
Apologies for the confusion folks. After checking it seems this actual car was just under £65.5k.... so £9.5k off the new price.
