A Macan went off in a big way the day before I was there, it was damaged and towed away. Apparently, in a Macan, we are liable, as I recall for £1000 of damage, possibly £5000 on 911? Someone will know for sure.Col Lamb wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:27 amIf you have not driven off the circuit onto the grass you, or rather me, was not trying hard enough.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2018 10:05 pm Good to have you back, Col.
Not sure that Porsche want us driving their cars beyond their limits at PEC though! Could be expensive!
Keep foot planted when understeering around the bend that leads to the acceleration straights and a Macan will eat up the grass with the only drama being the Instructors knuckles going white.

it was pretty much fast in, ooooh this goes across the grass nicely even in the wet, slow out
it was on the low friction track in the middle. In fairness he had just asked me to see how fast I could get around it...
Crikey...you've got to be trying quite hard to have a big whoopsie there...it's fairly idiot proof!Bigboyrolo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2018 10:39 pmA Macan went off in a big way the day before I was there, it was damaged and towed away.
