Ok.. I'm a convert. What a car!

Having spent some time tonight driving around, I'm astonished how this vehicle handles and performs. I think it's safe to say, so long as I get the normal Porsche reliability, this will be a keeper for some time..
My Porsche history
944 (sold)
911 (992.1 - sold)
Macan Turbo (sold)
Panamera turbo S E Hybrid (sold)
Cayenne sport (the bosses)
Taycan Turbo loving it.

As nice as the Macan Turbo is - I've had three - you'll be back in a 911 soon enough!

Not necessarily? I've had 2 and a Cayman, but I doubt I will go back? Horses for courses and all that. Sports cars don't fit my current lifestyle, plus I found that to exploit them in any way at all outside of a race circuit, you are into license/freedom endangering territory.

We'd always choose the Macan or 928 for a long jourmey over the 911, depends on your life i guess.

4 1/2 seats are useful at times too.

I do wonder which would get round a track fastest though, the 911 is a 996 Cabrio so i suspect the Macan might win.

Just noticed your list, we have rather different approaches to car acquisition!

I guess depends on what else you have - I have other cars for lugging the family/daily driving so now have the opportunity to stick with Porsche's Sports Cars.

I think you may be right the Macan is special in its versatility, it is good to have a car that you can use all the time and enjoy frequently. – MacanArif you are special, in a good sort of way
