Joined the Turbo crew today
Wow what a tough one this is. I know car buying is a gamble with regards to resale value over time period, but when that gamble is almost 25/30% down on the figure you are paying day one, before I've even sat in the car.. is that a risk I want to take?
My Porsche history
944 (sold)
911 (992.1 - sold)
Macan Turbo (sold)
Panamera turbo S E Hybrid (sold)
Cayenne sport (the bosses)
Taycan Turbo loving it.

As Big Phill already stated WBAC isn't always the best source when it comes to resale values and unless your planning to sell it as quickly as you bought it your overthinking it

My comment still stands, that's a low spec car with 'high miles' relative to what is out there. Also a relatively early car which would have had an engine out in the UK due to the fire recall. I'd want a late build car with factory install of the updated motor. Lots of choice as people have gotten out of .1 cars and into .1 RS or .2 GT3.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 6:31 pm"Cheapest" 991.1 GT3 is currently £111k. At an OPC. 18,599 miles. 2014. No PCCBs or roll cage etc.

If I'm ever in the market for a 991.1 GT3, I'll know whom to ask for advice!

Not sad at all, among a bunch of petrol-heads! 'Knowledgeable' is the word that I would use. Also, happy to share your experience & expertise
