Blimey! My life would have been very boring if I'd followed that motto!

Over the years, I've become more spontaneous, especially with 'big' purchases like cars and houses!

With the houses, it worked out very well. With the cars, over the last two years, it's been costly, but great fun!
I'm with Wing Co., 'Carpe Diem' etc, it's there in the words of Pink Floyds 'Time', see my signature.

Play it smart and you can drive Porsches for next to nothing. Think I've spent less than10k over 6 Porsches in 3 years and that includes depreciation, insurance, finance costs.
Current:
992 Turbo (July 23)
MG4 EV Trophy Long Range
VW Caravelle 6.1 4motion DSG
Suzuki Swift Sport

Previous Macan SD, Macan Turbo, Macan Turbo, 991.1 C4GTS coupe, 996 C4S coupe, Macan Turbo, 991.2 C4GTS coupe; 991.2 GT3; 992 C2S; 991.1 Turbo S

I think most of us are not as savvy as you, Arif.

Buying and selling cars is my most expensive hobby and I consider myself very fortunate that it doesn't hurt too much although I would prefer to be better at it!

If you sell the 991.2 GT3, you could say that Porsche have paid you £50k or so to drive their cars over the past 3 years! :D

Not if Arif sells his GT3 to a forum buddy for a fair price! ;)

I think I'll keep this one boys. Might be one of the last NA GT3s if rumours are to be believed.
