Hello from a new member (although I have made a few posts on this forum already). I see that the normal procedure is to describe your ‘weapon of choice’ so here goes:

Volcano Grey with full black leather

Adaptive cruise control with Porsche active safe (PAS)
Air suspension with self levelling ride height control and PASM
Carbon interior package
Lane assist in conjunction with lane change assist
LED main headlights inc PDLS plus
Light comfort package
Panoramic roof system
Park assist front and rear with surround view
Power steering plus
Privacy glass
Seat heating front
Speed limit indicator
Tinted LED tail lights with adaptive brake lights
21 inch 911 turbo design wheels
Aluminium roof rails

The car was already in build from the dealer when I chose it so I had no say in the various extras. On the plus side it was only three weeks from first visit to the dealer to collecting the car.

If I could have changed or added anything it would have been:

Heated steering wheel (once you’ve had it there’s no going back)
Black roof rails
Black window surrounds

But all things considered I am delighted with it. I previously had a 3 litre diesel Cayenne and then the 4.2 diesel Cayenne, but decided that it was time to down size.

Great spec, but it could have been fantastic if a heated steering wheel had been included (sorry, could not resist that).

Have a look at Bigboyrolo’s recent post showing the black wrap that he had fitted to the bright window surrounds, so there is an option for you.

The Turbo engine is fantastic, I love mine, it is effortless to drive and the start up growl never ceases to put a smile on my face.

Yes the start up is good, as was the noise from the Cayenne Diesel S and a Volvo S80 V8 I had 9 years ago (it had a Yamaha designed 4144cc v8 in it - what a beast).

Macan picture to follow shortly.

Congrats on the turbo you won't regret it. Shame about the heated steering wheel I wonder if that could be retrofitted?

Oh and I would have had the automatic dipping mirrors.

I am going to explore some retrofit options with the dealer - brace for impact in the wallet department !

I'm pleased with how I specced mine the only thing I regret apart from not stretching to a PP is not having full leather. The leather / plastic thing around the dash area bugs me.

Feedback from the dealer is that retrofitting autodimming mirrors is not possible ☹️

I have been thinking about the ‘clash’ between the black rear spoiler, the aluminium roof rails and the chrome window surrounds. I looked at various posts regarding painting and wrapping but then it dawned on me that actually the problem is the black rear spoiler. So now I am going to investigate the possibility of having it painted in the body colour.

Thoughts ?
