I'm delighted to join the community on this forum.

Just purchased a Macan SD that was pre-reg'd on the 14th of Feb (The embargo date) ...looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a Porsche after a 5 year sabatical !

Hi,

I'm collecting the Macan this Saturday.

Spec: Carrara White/Black Partial Leather - 21" Sport Classic's High Gloss, Pan-Roof, Sport Design Package with Side Skirts, SD Mirrors, LED Lights, Bose, Privacy Glass, HFS, Monochrome Black Exterior, Reversing Camera, Roof Rails Black, Porsche Logo Painted Black, Door Handles Painted High Gloss Black.

I'll post some pictures at the weekend, hopefully the snow stays away !

I must admit that I was torn between ordering a new 2.0 or taking the pre-reg SD...the 9k off list price swayed it. Hopfully the residuals will hold up ok, time will tell.

Wow, £9k of list is quite a discount! Is that literally with only a few miles on the clock and from an OPC? If so, a big rather worrying indication of where the market is!

Hi,

Yeah, OPC and with 6 miles on the clock.

The salesman sent an email advising that 3 vehicles had been registered and the dealer principle had priced them at a non negotiable figure.
I also had a chat with OPC Glasgow as they had a couple of similar cars pre-reg'd that were significantly higher priced and when I told their salesman of the offer at the other dealer he said buy it !!

To be fair the supplying dealer did say the have probably priced the vehicles to low, however, they've sold all three.

Pre registered cars carry a discount as you become the 2nd owner. The dealer wants to shift these cars.

Pre-reg vehicles are great value! Not common in the Porsche network so I reckon you’ve got a great deal !
Nice spec too with some pretty cosmetic bits...

Interesting spec, is the spec you list complete?

Specifically steating and inclusion of PASM.
