I'm collecting the Macan this Saturday.

Spec: Carrara White/Black Partial Leather - 21" Sport Classic's High Gloss, Pan-Roof, Sport Design Package with Side Skirts, SD Mirrors, LED Lights, Bose, Privacy Glass, HFS, Monochrome Black Exterior, Reversing Camera, Roof Rails Black, Porsche Logo Painted Black, Door Handles Painted High Gloss Black.

I'll post some pictures at the weekend, hopefully the snow stays away !

I must admit that I was torn between ordering a new 2.0 or taking the pre-reg SD...the 9k off list price swayed it. Hopfully the residuals will hold up ok, time will tell.

Gary
Welcome, Gary! What a bargain! Congrats and roll on Saturday!

We look forward to the pics! :)

As has been pointed out the SD now being a discontinued variant the code does not work.

My concern with configurations is that without some prime extras the car will not be as desirable in the future, in particular if it has 8way seats and no PASM as the vast majority of Macans have the seats and suspension extras included.

I’m sure you will love it ... I doubt for one minute your driving experience will be ruined by future loss / gain.

Won't work! SD codes now produce "Internal Error" which may just be how Porsche now describes their venture into diesel engines. 😂
See my 20:15 (time) post above.

That's the OPC writing off their gross margin, just to clear the stock off their books! A very worrying indicator for future residuals imvho?

Porsche UK placed a number of ‘delivery mileage only’ Cayenne Diesel S on the main web site recently. They represented a saving of several thousand pounds off new. Thankfully my OPC gave me a realistic price for mine when I traded mine in for the Macan.

I thought long and hard about whether to buy a diesel Macan but it was the deal offered by the dealer on the Turbo that swayed me.
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

I think 3 years down the line the Macan SD will be every bit as desirable (or more!) than a diesel F-Pace, Velar or Q5.
