Iv just today looked at PPF , for the bonnet and front bumper waiting for a quote to come threw. Its this or a full Gtechnic serum finish, including wheels. Has anyone any idea how much these to treatments should be? And wich would be best?

Hi Mike,

Check out JayOne's site at www.exclusivecarcare.co.uk for details of treatments and pricing etc.

Myself and others on here have used his (Justin's) services and been duly impressed.

If nothing else, it'll give you an idea of what's available and prices.

Hi. I used a great guy in London who really impressed. Found about him on here (Belissimoto).

PPF and Gtechniq are not meant for the same purpose so it’s really shouldn’t be a choice between one or other. Just have a look at another thread started today where a guy is asking about best touch up paint thinking his ceramic coating would have helped avoid these. The only way to minimise stone chips is PPF and by all means do the car with Gtechniq as it offers protection to the rest of the car.

After much discussion I ended up with Gtechniq serum ultra on the body, Gtechniq total protection on the wheels and PPF on the doors and front and rear bumpers.

Whether it proves to be money well spent only time will tell, but if it helps me keep the bodywork and calipers looking pristine then that’s good enough for me.

Lovely looking Macan, hope you get much pleasure from it. Did you buy that number plate or were you just very lucky that it was already on your OPC's designated list?

Good decision. Even if she's unimpressed with detailing spend, I hope Mrs PW sees the shrewd investment strategy behind this. ;)
