My stealer tried to get me to have g tech saying that they offered the only place you could get CS Black for the bargain price of £1600, I then asked why g tech offer the same service on their web site for £1100, the stealer said it wasn’t possible and he would get g tech to ring me. The phone call eventually came and the person first tried to say he was from g tech but when pushed. It turned out he was from the local valeter and only ‘used” g tech products and not a g tech employee, he seemed unaware of the price menu on g tech’s own website and eventually admitted the difference in cost is “ Porsche tax”
This has put a blot on my first venture into Porsche,

Out of interest, is that including VAT, and does it include removing the wheels, doing the complete wheels, and calipers? :)

+1. I have used Justin/JayOne and have been impressed.

The reason for my question above is that I recently got a quote from Justin, and had I added interior treatment too, it would have been quite a bit more than that (i.e. more than £750 including VAT), although my quote included the 5 year level of Gtechniq treatment, with two layers of Exo added on top, plus removal of the wheels. :)

Regardless, I'll be booking my Carrera T in with Justin once I've got it.

Anybody can buy Gtechniq light products off ebay etc but you cannot buy the Gtechniq professional graded product i.e CS Ultra. The OPC were trying to charge you more for a product and it to applied by an non Gtechniq approved professional detailer.

The gtechniq website it lists all their approved detailers.

I see the problem as OPC's are losing buckets of cash because buyer's not taking up their swiss vax etc, so they are trying to get more £'s by offering Gtechniq light treatments.
