Your absolutely right, guess some just don't want to overthink it, best advise IMHO keep for minimum 3 and maximum 9, get your choice and spec right first time and then enjoy. For fun buy a classic/modern classic, won't break the bank by comparison and in the worst case you'll recover what you spent 🤔 However you may break down once in a while 😖😉

I follow the 991 forum on Rennlist. Although maybe not your typical Porsche buyer, forum members/users often buy new made-to-order models, and often still get a discount of anything up to 5% or more. Even bigger discounts can be achieved on ‘lot cars’ many of which hang around for ages if they have not been thoughtfully/sensibly specced. :geek:

The Rennlist forum is quite a bitchy place to be unlike this one

Yes looking at macanforum (USA) it does seem that discounts are plentiful in the states!

Are there no deals to be done here even on the options? Did everyone on here pay full whack for all their options?.

Porsche generally don't do discounts. I didn't get a penny off :) ! It was a major shock after coming from BMW where big discounts are on offer.

A friend of mine did get a discount on a diesel Macan recently.

Just purchased a 2019 new Macan from Tim, Leicester Porsche. Got a great deal with 3k discount for delivery before 31st December as they had 19 Macans pre-spec’d delivered. Really happy with the whole Porsche experience. (New Porsche owner! 😊)

Thank you Wing Commander.

I’d never had expected to get such a discount. Based on reading these comments - I’m amazed!

Indeed! Getting £3,000 deducted from list price is well played indeed!

That’s a smart looking Macan. :)

Please share photos on here when you pick her up.

Thin end of the wedge and residuals are about to plummet!

Oh and welcome, Hels [emoji106]
