You may get a ‘finance incentive’ (or similar jargon phrase, Porsche’s vocabulary doesn’t include the word ‘discount’) if you use Porsche Finance for an element of the purchase price. In some cases, such a contribution can more than offset the (extra) price of their finance. :geek:

Hi All still working on getting good deal Ha Ha.

Bit of guidance and opinions with build if possible.

Comfort memory seats against Active sport seats.

Have a sport exhaust or use monies on PASM.

Definately having black tail pipes regardless.

Any other advice gratefully accepted.

14 way or 18 way seats are a personal choice, I prefer the 14 way as the squab and back bolsters are not as big. Hence the 14 way do not give as snug a fit as 18 way. Both have memory as standard.

It is what you feel confortable with, suggest you arrange test drives of a pair of Macans with each option.

Can I suggest that you read up on PASM, it is the one extra that in a Macan should be ticked first, especially if you are going for larger wheels. Without PASM the ride quality is harsh, like a Beamer M series on run flats. No PASM and the handling is a compromise setup and not the fully adaptive that you get with PASM. If you want a comfortable ride on large wheels, spec Air but do test drive a Macan with Air suspension

PSE sounds great, its best features is the on off switch, it give zero increase in torque or power. It drones when cruising hence the off switch then comes into its own.

If it were a choice of PASM or sports exhaust I would go for PASM but I have had 2 Macans on 20” Spyders and my latest Macan is on 21” sports classics and all three have been without PASM . I find the ride perfectly acceptable. I also had a Cayman and Boxster on the largest wheels available without PASM.

I have read on here often that PASM should be essential but I'm not so sure. I drive my GTS always in sport suspension and find it very comfortable. Even sport plus isn't that harsh but really depends what you like and what you are used to. I find comfort much too soft and floaty. That is with 21" wheels. I'm guessing that I likely could be happy without PASM but it's standard on GTS so I have it.

Love sports exhaust for the occasions I want it but wouldn't spec it if it wasn't already standard. Again the GTS gets it so I have it.
