Hi Peeps,

I’m back after a leave of absence. I see a few of the old guard are still about. Be good to be back, this was always the best forum.

Anyway, Range Rover Sport has gone, been a fabulous 2 years. All being well, looking at a 2019MY Turbo / Turbo S / Turbo PP, but not til Sept ‘19.

I’ll trawl the posts and suss out the trouble makers....
😁

Welcome back :D :D :D

What's your thoughts on the Range Rover Sport?? That's what I was going to buy before the Macan but eventually thought....too big, and I don't want to drive across fields.

Hey chaps,

LOVED the RRS! It is/was brilliant.

Aside a small oil leak from the front active roll bar, nothing ever went wrong, fell off, creaked, clunked, wore, or looked nasty after two years use as the family wagon, including dog. Only went to dealers 4 times in two years. Once for a seat belt recall, twice to be serviced and once for the small oil leak. It was built tough, hugely comfy, quiet, dynamic!! and has been awarded my most favourite car I have owned of all time. Why have I sold it!!!! 🤭

Due to a family move from the countryside into a temporary home in town, with a garage it doens’t fit it in, my insurance company wanted £4k+ a year to leave it parked outside in Edgbaston! So the misses can walk!

So I have decided not going to do diesel again and it was either going to be an SVR next year when sorted house or as we will be in the ‘burbs and the car won’t get used much, something smaller and hence the Macan is back on the agenda. If we didn’t have a dog I’d get a Pan ST. 😎

First world problems!

So that gives me a year of boring you all with my build codes. (When will the new configuator be up???)

Goodbye my beauty 😢

Welcome back. Most of us have moved out of a Macan or are about to. It's really turned into a friendly place for car chats with a Macan theme from time to time... Oh yes. Lots of talk about something called electric cars, stuff that whines when it moves. It reminds me of a girlfriend a dumped some considerable time ago for exactly that reason.

Welcome back, 777! :)

Good to hear that your British-built Black Beauty was virtually trouble-free!

Looking forward to following your Macan Turbo journey.

I’m now on Porsche Number 4...
