Hello Rams911
Get your OPC to let you have an overnight loan of their demo base Macan 2 with the std LEDs. Better yet if they have another demo with the enhanced LEDs to do a comparison.

Macan gen 2 standard LEDs look like the gen 1 optional extra’s, i.e. central light with four small round light elements.
The gen 2 optional LEDs have four squint rectangular elements.

Would be good to get the light specs... I ordered the optional gen 2 LED’s, as new spec should be better, but who knows? Unfortunately, Good to know App doesn’t have the specs.

On order: 911 Targa 4S - PPDV8NY4

Yes, unfortunately cosmetics could hide actual power output (or lumens or whatever)

I will see what they will do, but reading around i think the PDLS+ for country road are the way to go.We live in the forest and it's hard to see at the best of times. we had the matrix ones on our Velar and they were epic! i want to save money on the car but all my plans to seem to be going. taking the alcantra roof off save a few pennies but then i added the heated steering wheel and speed limit indicator! omg this car is so over spec'ed but i love it!

Speed Limit Indicator? We will have to review your membership.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.

If you live in dark countryside and regularly drive country roads in the dark I cannot recommend LEDs with PDLS+ highly enough. As I am knocking on a bit I find my night vision getting worse and the LEDs with PDLS+ have been both a revelation and given me back my night driving confidence. Having had them on the Macan it was the first option I ticked on the 911 (although nearly £1,800 on the 911 vs £495 on the Macan. Ouch!)
