Hi all
I'm on the verge of buying a Macan s diesel. Need some advice. The Macan I'm looking at has all the spec I desire minus heated seats. This is potentially a stumbling block. I have test driven the car & really like it..but it doesn't have heated seats. I'll be honest..I thought all the Macans would come with heated seats as standard. Is it possible to get heated seats added & possibly heated steering wheel??

Very little comes as standard with a Porsche 😳 If retrofits are at all available I think you would find them cost prohibitive. If it's a major element (excuse the pun) for you I would seek another more suitably specced model.

If I know Porsche they would charge you full replacement of both. Say 1k for the steering wheel and probably 2k for replacement front seats. Plus fitting of course. Best bet is to simply find one with those options fitted.

You could phone an OPC and ask the question, but as Phil says, I suspect it would be prohibitively expensive. Then again, if you really like the car and it is good spec at an otherwise good price, you might consider it. Could be a bargaining point of the asking price as well. The suggested price of £3k sounds a lot, but if the car is £35k and you plan to keep for several years it could make sense. People spend more money than that on fancy wheels!

I wouldn't buy one without heated seats and retrofit will be a silly price. My advice would be to keep looking for one with heated seats as its a very commonly ticked option.

Run mine all year round and heated leather seats during our cold snaps are a godsend. Dont think I’d buy wothout them. A heated steering wheel would be a bonus too.

I wouldn't even consider retrofitting, the cost will be pretty prohibitive and you don't want different shades of leather in front and back. Find one with heated seats as suggested.
