Now that’s a fantastic looking car. Suprising how Volcano Grey can look so different depending on the light.
My teachers always said I would amount to nothing.
...Thus far I've been unable to prove them wrong.

happy days wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 12:10 pm I agree with the surround cams - absolutely brilliant. Same with the heated steering wheel - yummy. The LED lights swivel in the corners too, same as the PDSL+.
When you say LED lights, do you mean the standard ones swivel or is PDLS+ needed for that?

Our McCann has the option Bi-Xenon Heeadlights (PDSL) which do swivel in the corners. AFAIK, the PDSL+ adds the option of using the SatNav to know where it is located and to illuminate junctions etc as well.

Do others agree with this? As I've always thought this was a must have... but then I've not yet owned an SUV!!

I have had without and with, not had any problems either way and I had had privacy glass in both my Macans.

Well I do have problems but that is with the LEDs, on dark country roads I often get flashed because the oncoming traffic thinks that I am on full beam when I am not.

I had this problem recently, hence adjusted my dipped-headlights to be fractionally lower - this is quite easy to do with a 6mm allen key. Perhaps yours need adjusting?

To Nozydog - I do not have dimming mirrors but do have privacy glass; no problems experienced. In fact, the biggest glare is from my own headlights reflecting off of road signs!

I have auto dim on both cars. The Macan doesn't have privacy glass, the 911 only in the rear screen. Irrespective of privacy glass you'll still get dazzled by headlights from behind (like Col's LEDs! ) via the door mirrors, so auto dim is still an important option for me.

^1 totally agree with the above. I elected not to have privacy glass on the 911 but headlights are no less irritating from behind with it (which I had on the Macan) largely because of what Nick says. Personally wouldn't be without the auto dipping mirrors (I think they also come with the rain sensor but not sure on this one)

Completely agree with this, and I only have Bi-Xenons! I often dip my headlights when passing road signs, just to avoid being dazzled by myself!?

Also a vote from me for the value of auto-dimming mirrors. Thanks to those on here that suggested I include them on my spec for my Carrera T. :)
