Greetings from a new member in Spain, collected our new Macan in December. This forum is really informative on all issues Macan, so look forward to learning from other owners' experiences - especially if something goes wrong, which I hope doesn't! Here's a pic of the car posing outside the Parador of Carmona, Spain, during our 1200 km road trip (hope it loads ok). Wonderful car!

Welcome Zac.

Great choice and a 1200km road trip would be a good shakedown journey.

Macan issues:-
DPF (diesel only)
Transfer box
Leaking Pano
Electronic warnings including complete cut off
Freezing LCD dsplay
Wiper judder

So not to much with the transfer box being the main one of concern.

In two Macans the only issues I have had has been the Audio system freezing and a non critical engine alarm that reset itself when I switched the engine off, locked the car then restarted.

Looks nice, I'll be going for those same wheels myself as they're my favourite design of all the wheels available (and not too costly)

Is the car black or night blue (or even volcano grey)? I can't quite tell...

I could not decide whether it was mahogany or black?

Now you say that!!

Talking of Mahogany... has anyone actually seen it on a Macan in daylight? I quite fancy it but I had an Austin Allegro back in the day which was a kind of dark bronze metallic  I think Porsche's Mahogany is more of a burgundy though from pictures I've seen online!?

Thanks for the welcomes, indeed a friendly forum! For those who have wondered about the colour, it is volcano grey. Opted for the 19" wheels as a compromise between comfort and looks, and am quite happy with the choice.
