I would have another one in a heartbeat if that category of car was what suited my needs. I really couldn't fault it.

Thanks chaps, I tested the Cayenne & Macan sd, preferred the Macan but - appreciating its not a 911 - I needed both petrol & a few more horses. Tried the GTS & thought it ticked all the boxes. That includes the right noises!

Can’t argue with that! It does sound good especially on a cold start [emoji106]

Oh and welcome :)
Well... it kind of is, it'll certainly out handle any other 'high riding' car on the planet! :D
Well, it kind of isn't. Actually no it simply isn't a sports car. It is, however, a sporty SUV and, yes, I would agree that it is probably the best handling SUV around and manages to be supremely comfortable at the same time. Hence my comment that it is an awesome car :)
I agree with VanB

Whilst the Macan handles well it is definately not a Sports Car in fact it does not handle as well as many saloon cars. Yes it does handle better then other SUVs.

My old Jag had 170 less horses and I could hustle it through the corners far better than either of my Macans.

My wife’s Golf GTI is way more nimble and handles better than my GTS. They are however different types of vehicles and each are excelling in their class.

Just to tempt you, this one you can keep a little longer than the first ;) :?

Love it, Mike! In real life, a Racing Yellow Macan GTS with 21" Sport Classics in gloss black would look & be awesome!! 8-)

In reality, seriously planning on keeping my Racing Yellow 911 Carrera T for a while first! ;)

I saw a comparo to a Bmw M2 around a racetrack and the track time was very close to the M2 which I would consider to be a sports car. Mind you , it was the Macan TURBO
