I don’t know if anyone can explain the fact my oil light has gone off now? It can’t of needed a litre of oil after 1900 miles ....
If you lifted the bonnet, then that might well explain why the light has gone off. The car will assume you have topped up with oil.
Really! It ain't that clever😂

On my previous Audi Q5 there is a bonnet senor which developed a fault. Resulting in telling me it required oil when it didn’t.

Not sure if the Macan is the same but if there is an issue with the bonnet sensor could explain the issue.

Actually it is quite clever. From the Manual:

Measuring the oil level after topping up
engine oil or opening the engine
compartment lid
If the engine compartment lid was opened, the oil
level can only be measured after driving for at
least 6 miles (10 km).
The message ““No information about oil level
available at present”” appears on the multifunction
display.

I didn’t open my bonnet but the warning came and went. Guess I should check it really 😳
