Hi all again,

I think I may have found an answer from another post on this forum about the lighter/ashtray in the rear .....

viewtopic.php?t=4313

In this post someone with a 2016 Macan and the smokers package says that he has NO rear ashtray or 12V lighter, but there are 2 USB charging points in the back of the centre console.

In his 2014 Macan there was a 12V socket with a cover but still no ashtray, either in the centre or in the doors.

Hope that helps! I'll still double check at my visit to the OPC.

There are a lot of facelift Macan video's on Youtube from the Majorca launch. The relevant ones of these with interior shots show cars with smokers package lid in the front but still with 2 USB's in back.

Glad to have got some value for others while watching these as I wait for my car!!

I’m sitting in OPC Swindon now - just looked at 2 new Macans

One has smokers pack (pop-up lid cover behind gear change, hiding cigarette lighter, & small ashtray)

Other has open recess, with round power socket, with sprung lid saying ‘Power Outlet 12v’

Both have 2x USB sockets in rear console, no other changes.

^ Thanks for clarification.

I don't think there's a 12V socket in the centre console any more, so the only one in the cabin is in the front ashtray/cubbyhole.

Some pics. Basically imo it looks much better with the cover (smokers pack). The rear is the same 2 usb.

I remember as a child when my father bought his first new car and a heater was an extra. Now air con Is standard and an ash tray is an extra. How the world has changed!

^ On the 'no smoker pack' version, what's that button below the 'Auto Stop Start'?
