Yes as per VanB and Ray comments I am petty sure it’s ioniser as it was specced on that model.
I would love it to be an ejection seat button for the passenger. Would come in handy on a rare occasion

GTS
I have convinced the grandchildren that the button in the overhead console that opens the panoramic roof is an ejector button for the rear seats. It first has to open then they are ejected...so far it has only got half open before they get back under control!

Thanks. Seems a bit of a no-brainer in light of this to have the smoker's package - it is a lot neater and I am struggling to see a downside (apart from being £38 poorer). Checked on the configurator and it clearly shows also the gap versus the lid as in the photos. Odd this isn't standard.posting.php?f=15&mode=quote&p=172690&si ... 79793e4f81#Funrider wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 9:15 am I’m sitting in OPC Swindon now - just looked at 2 new Macans
One has smokers pack (pop-up lid cover behind gear change, hiding cigarette lighter, & small ashtray)
Other has open recess, with round power socket, with sprung lid saying ‘Power Outlet 12v’
Both have 2x USB sockets in rear console, no other changes.

You'll soon get to appreciate/understand Porsche's pricing strategy/genius!

For anyone who forgets to add the smoker's pack, here's a £34 (or offer?) retrofit option: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2014-Porsche ... Sw95lbKNzeCAY2018 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 10:23 amThanks. I've got the carbon fibre trim in mine and it looks stunning, goes well with my red leather seats. I had BMW's for years with light coloured leather - the red just looks awesome and was such a change from my usual conservative spec!
21 inch 911 turbo alloys on mine look amazing really set the car off, and surprisingly comfy on B roads, but thats me comparing it to years of BMW run flats !
