Hi
Picked up my first porsche last week from London- ex demo Macan S diesel Sep 2018 reg.
Love it!
Need help with something though...
This small piece of plastic was found near my car (near back passenger door).
Cant figure out what this is?
says on it JC1850767 >PP<
photos attached
Any idea/help please?
I live in rural Lincolnshire and the nearest garage is Leicester, nearly two hours away..
thanks & regards

Welcome to the forum Harish and congrats on your new Macan. [emoji2]
Could it be a part of the rubber strips system that runs all along on the side / bottom of the door? Check the front door too, bottom corners and compare to the other side of the car.
On the rear door the seal collects mud a muck under the flap.
Other than that I am not sure. [emoji848]

If Semerka's idea isn't the solution, then maybe an idea to email the photos either to the supplying Porsche dealer or Leicester and ask them to identify that part.
Good luck in your quest.

Random thought...
You have photos, you have the part number (well what looks like a part number), I'm guessing you also have email and the tinternet thingy - ring Porsche, ask for someone in parts/servicing and send them this. Little need to drive for 2 hours when your problem could be sorted "on the line".

The number on the component probably isn’t the car part number, more likely a number used by the manufacturer, ie not Porsche.
