When I first got mine, I was with SAGA. I have been with them off and on over the years, depending on their competitiveness. First year paid ridiculously cheap, less than £200. Then second year it more than doubled, even though I informed them, I paid for a full side respray out of my own pocket, due to having it keyed. They wouldn't budge, so I moved away and found one cheaper.

Got my insurance with Admiral through compare the Meerkat. £635 all in which I thought was ok. I’m 40 with 10 years NCB. They didn’t have the car on their system either but just added the number plate and bobs your uncle.

^^^ Blimey, I paid less than that for the Macan and 911 combined! Do you live in central London?

As the saying goes "you get what you pay for" and that particularly applies to insurance. Generally when going cheaper the exclusions and things not covered change with the result being less cover. How many actually read their policy T's & C's, not many. I moved to NFU who underwrite their own policies, the premium for my 2019 2.0 Macan is £637.00 which includes RTI insurance for the first and second year, I consider this even for my more advanced years to be reasonable given the level of cover. I went the Trustpilot route first, it's amazing how many insurers have fantastic 5 star feedback records which are purely based on customers reporting how easy it was to take out a policy with them. There aren't many reviews based on making a claim. It's all down to how well you want your precious Macan covered, as they say in Yorkshire "you don't get owt for nowt"

Yes, quite a few of us are with NFU. I was paying £320 for the Macan before I added the 911.

I’m paying approx £750 with NFU for a Macan and 911. £637 for one Macan seems a lot to me 🤔.

As I said prior....i'm paying over £800 which for a £60000 + car, anywhere in Europe, is reasonable me thinks...........Please people with these low prices....read your T/C's

I queried the price with NFU who informed me the calculation is automatic based on data entered, I suspect my Macan living on the drive though I live in a low risk area won't help. Since when were garages for cars, these days they seem to be for everything except cars, ask my wife..... :D
