New Owner - Macan S 2019

Just picked up at the weekend....

Very happy but struggling with finding Insurance with the new 2019 Macan S model. Seems like the new model is not showing up on most quoting sites. Only a couple of days left of the 5-day drive away cover. My favourite quote is Quidco Compare just showing one quote only at over £10k pa!

50+ No convictions or Claims.

Any recommendations??

Still waiting to collect mine , but have had a good quote from NFU insurance , also 50+ no convictions, my wife rang them and it was around £450.00

Been with NFU since 2016 and Macan number 1.

age 65 no accidents and 9 years max no claim, 15000 annual mileage £480 inc NCD protection from LV a month ago. Also rang NFU, said they would come back next day as the car not yet on the system and needed special quote and still waiting to hear a month later.

I ended just having to go with the Porsche insurance frustratingly, pretty much as no one else came back with a quote despite somewhat stringing me along.. everyone else either said couldn’t insure or had to go to underwriter and would call me back, including NFU, LV and Admiral all of which I am still waiting to get an actual quote.. this with 9yrs+ no claims and at 40yrs

I'm with LV, but reading some of the above makes you wonder how these companies stay in business.

Thanks for all of the replies. Looks like NFU is the answer. I suspect that they don't have the 2019 model on their system but are smart enough to pick the previous Macan S to get quote / policy set up. (That's even what Porsche Insurance had to do for my Driveaway insurance!)

I moved to NFU and you get free return to invoice insurance for the first two years of a vehicles life.....

Picked up mine yesterday and continued insurance cover with Saga,yes I'm really old! At last they had Mac2 on the system so no problems. Costing over £800 pa and I have max NCD plus clean license etc. Has I have said before on these forums,I stay with Saga because they give me unlimited cover in all european countries, where i spend a lot of time.
