Do be advised that PSE does drone quite badly when cruising at a constant high speed.

I think you only get the pops and crackles in sport mode. It’s probably true that most Porsche owners drive in sport mode most of the time. However, heed Col’s comment as PSE is tiresome on the motorway.

So:

PSE off - nice rumble
PSE on - louder rumble
PSE on + Sport/+ - louder rumble + crackle & pop
PSE on + Mway - louder rumble + drone

Got it
