Do you still get a decent song through the revs?
Unfortunately I can’t really give you much real life information as mine is still in the build queue! I was happy with the sound of the S as it is though when I test drove so I figured I would stop at that. It was enough for me to enjoy without annoying others.

If it was me I would go the air suspension instead of the PSE, or maybe the lights since you seem interested in them. If I could have another option it may have been the upgraded lights.

Ok after all the advice I have received, including from OPC, i have decided no PSE. Sticking with standard lights.

The new standard LEDs are a downgrade versus the older LEDs. The older LEDs were PDLS+, whereas the new ones aren't even PDLS nevermind PDLS+.

While the new cars do come with LED lights, these are fairly basic when compared to the upgraded ones Porsche would like to sell you! That said, as per wing commander, the standard LED lights are a lot better than the older halogen ones, and therefore upgrading is no longer a must.

Thank you all for your feedback! Cant believe how stressful (and fun) this has been.

Love the fact that you can customise your car but at times have wished I could just choose a premium pack type thing!

I would definitely keep the Pano roof, use mine all the time - open, tilted or sun shade back - be it winter or summer in the UK. It is the option that is most specced and not only that it makes the interior much brighter in a dark car (I have volcano grey).

I have a rear view camera on the 911 and just cant get used to looking at it so generally don't. Still mirrors with a bit of sensor help for me.

Ok so after a week of death by configurator!

Here is the final version:

Macan S
Jet Black Metallic
21" Turbo Wheels
Black standard interior
14 Way Heated Seats
Pan Roof
PASM
PSE
Chrono
75 Ltr Tank
Power Steering Plus
PDSL Plus
Park Assist w/camera
Comfort Lighting
Bose

The budget HAD to stretch from where I first started but I think it will make a great car for the next few years! YOLO etc!

On collection do Porsche provide any nice gifts etc?
In the past I have always had at least a branded umbrella from Merc/Audi.
