Hi everyone,
Good to be part of the forum.
I’ve just ordered my very first Porsche today!
Macan S in solid black
Pano Roof
Privacy Glass
21 Turbo wheels
Heated seats
reversing camera

Porsche Guildford were excellent and I managed to get a little discount off the final price which is always nice

I’m thinking of changing to white as I am afraid of future swirl marks on the solid black but going to sleep on it for a few days.
Handy tip for anyone thinking of ordering their first Porsche - the Porsche centres also provide a silverstone experience day which is a nice touch.

Welcome to the forums!

Buy yourself a resin water filter and wash your car carefully using the 2-bucket method, and you shouldn't have swirl marks. My black Macan is coming up to 2 years old and I've just washed it today and it looks pristine.

Porsche Guildford were great when I bought mine, especially Laura. No pressure and two test drives.

Congrats - the only problem with Porsche is that once you have had one you won’t want anything else !

If you don’t hear anything from Porsche in the next couple of weeks I would chase this up via your OPC. They can see whether Porsche have sent your invite out. I didn’t get either of two attempts by them to email me an invite.

I then contacted Porsche direct. They seemed to be aware of some sort of potential issue with spam filters (at which end is not clear). They then sent a third attempt from a different email account, which they seemed confident would arrive (and it did).
