Hi Macan Owners

If there are any 2.0-litre Macan owners out there, could you please tell me what average fuel consumption you get? Ideally on a long run; and what you generally get on a full tank.

Thanks, in anticipation, for your help.

Best regards,
Jimbo58

I ran a 2 litre for 28,000 miles and got around 29-30 mpg overall (based on actual brim to brim calculated, rather than the PCM figures).

It didn’t vary hugely from this figure. The worst I would ever get on a tank full would be around 26 mpg - in the winter with lots of shortish runs. And I don’t think I got anything much more than about 31 from a tank, when including some longer runs.

I have a 2 litre and it mainly travels on the M6 between Lytham and Shropshire ,about 100 miles.I will consistently get 36 to 40 miles to the gallon, based on the computer figures.

Agree with the above, on long runs with 2 adults and 2 children we get mid 30s at motorway speeds

On shorter journeys it is low 30s.

Both are with gentle throttle inputs rather than exploring the red line. In any large heavy vehicle you will get low mpg with heavy throttle input

Hi,
The consumption has improved as the car has run in etc. It is 9 months old now with approx. 6,000 miles. Mainly driven solo or with one passenger.

I get high 30's on a longer run (A road and motorways) and low 30's average on A & B roads short to mid journeys. I had a loaner Macan S for a few days and on average it was 6 to 8mpg higher consumption driven in the same areas and speeds.

Thanks everyone: all very helpful. I pick up my hi-spec, Oct 2016 2.0-litre Macan — for everyday use — in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!!

Had mine for 6 days, travelled 86 miles, average speed 17mph @ 23.7mpg this is driving conservatively but my journeys have just been to and from work in heavy stop/start traffic. Going for a long drive tomorrow so will be interesting to see what mpg is achieved. Have to say I was expecting to get higher mpg. Loving it though so no worries.

There are lots of good reasons to buy a 2 litre Macan!

Fuel consumption ain’t one of them! 😀

Just add some comparison, I've only done 1 long trip in my new 3.0 and got 29.4 mpg mainly on motorway
