I have just bought a 2017 Porshe Macan SD.
Car has full Porsche service history and last service was 5000 miles ago. Oil warning light came on day 2 of ownership. 1 litre of oil added warning light has gone off.
Question: is it normal for car to require oil after only 5k miles since service?

Had mine serviced yesterday (2 year) and the service indicator is showing 10,600 miles to the next Oil Change. Only recently did I get an Oil Warning light at around 14,000 miles, when I dropped in the 'Complimentary' litre of oil they put in the boot.

Mine initially said 10,600m just after my major service. A couple of week's later the next oil service has moved out to the 20,000 mile point, as stated in the manual.

Had my SD from new in 2016, now done 30K. Only ever topped it up, on one occasaion after warning light illuminated. But I don't drive it like I stole it.
Good to hear; I thought it was just a ruse to tease another £250 out of me next year?
