I've had my facelifted 2019 Macan S since 4th May. On 13th September, the prompt came up to add 1 litre of engine oil: I had driven 6,224 miles (9,958kms). I added 1 litre of Mobil 1 SAE 0W-30 as per engine bay sticker (not 0W-20 as in the Drivers' Manual): I had bought the oil from Halfords beforehand in readiness. I drive about 40% town and 60% motorway/A roads.

I would be shocked if the oil light came on wondering if damage had been done!
My brother had a car like that; until just before it's first service!

After reading this thread I got the manual out and it was not clear (to me) on what/which engine oil adding that I should check the engine bay which I did and did not see a 'sticker' - where is it?

Left side front as you look at the engine. If you google ‘Porsche Macan engine images’ you will see several examples.

That's strange as my OPC (Portsmouth) supplies SAE 0W-40. As my 2016 Petrol S uses very little oil between services (circa 10k pa) I've so far never needed a top up. Oil grade seems a fairly movable feast!

My oil top-up indicator just came on at 9750 mi on the clock. It clearly states add 1L of oil... I must dive under the bonnet to see what is the recommended oil spec.
Since my S is the same vintage as RAA’s, the oil is probably SAE 0W-30
