Downsized from previous Cayennes and love it
Congratulations mate! A fine purchase and from the sounds of it, perfect for your needs.
Look forward to future thoughts and comments as you get used to the Macan Turbo as it may turn out to be the replacement for my GTS.

There is no run in advice for the 2020 model in manual or good to know app...... seems odd. Wonder if they’d repair under warranty if multiple launch controls in first 50 miles..... I will follow the 2019 guide and good point I’ll have a nosy in the Cayenne S manual as same engine. Cheers. 400 miles and loosening up nicely.
Check through the “Same driving pleasure, more safety” section in Good to Know, and see if it is there.fcooke wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 7:56 pm There is no run in advice for the 2020 model in manual or good to know app...... seems odd. Thank for that again. in didn’t work as a search item.
I’m old fashioned and focus on oil temp first then when warm sensible mixed driving until 1500 miles. It’s really difficult as she wants to go but given the car costs a lot more than my first house.......
Does anybody bother with a 1k mile oil service any more? Regardless of engine bench testing and warranties gut feel tells me it’s worth it.

I did oil changes on both cars after the running in period and then annual changes. Contrary to what sales staff may tell you the engines are NOT bench tested or run in before shipping. Cold pressure tests are done on the engine assembly lines but the first time the engine runs on fuel is when it is driven off the car assembly line and into the final testing bay. From there the cars are shipped to their point of sale where you will see only a few miles on the clock.

13 miles in my case. I changed oil at 2000 on my SD. Just to be sure.
