Yes it's a rare car indeed. Does your car meet my spec requirements? ;)

I've looked at the ad for the Litchfield one at rpm...its had some nice upgrades but has full buckets and I might be the only person who's not too keen on Miami blue - too much green in some lights. Give me Mexico, maritime or Riviera any day, although I know they would be real unicorns!

Back to the Macan...I was wondering if my '18 2.0 has one of these particulate filter things?

Our 2019 model year Leon 2.0i was built after the summer 2018 factory holiday and it has a Petrol Particulate Filter.

It's basically the same VAG engine in the 2.0 Macan. We've experience no issues in 12 months, other than a slight initial hesitancy pulling away after a cold start on 😎 hot summer days.

My car does meet your requirements - Racing Yellow, manual, rear seats & Carrera T Interior Package in Racing Yellow. Also Litchfield upgrades including ECU remap, Remus exhaust, new manifolds and sports CATs. Plus lowered suspension on KW springs, with new bushes, and 7mm spacers all round. It has also covered over 22k miles. Not currently for sale.

You won’t find a T in a PTS colour, unless it was resprayed after purchase. :ugeek:

Cheers,
Simon

Only the newer ‘facelift’ Macans have the PPF fitted. Prior to the facelift, it was only the diesel Macan that had a particulate filter fitted.

Ha ha! Not anytime soon! But will probably change cars before I die... ;)

Need to get value for money out of my modifications, plus, as I’m doing above average mileage (will be over 23k miles by this time tomorrow) the early depreciation would be highly painful!

And the novelty has not worn off. Still love driving it every time, and with the mods, it makes me smile even more! :D

When you say facelift, are you referring to the latest one with the full width rear light strip?

I'll be pleased if mine hasn't got the filters.

I bet you do still love driving it...sounds to me like an amazing car and my perfect spec! Does it have pccb's? I like what they've done with the blue one at rpm - replaced the carbon with steel girodiscs but keeping the big calipers...perfect track combo

Yep. Facelift = full width rear light strip and no particulate filter on petrol models.

Mine doesn’t have PCCBs. With the Miami Blue one, I wondered if those calipers have been painted yellow, rather than it being a car that came with PCCBs...? 🤔
