Thought about the S, have a weekend test drive in 2 weeks time so will see how the 2.0 is and if it feels under powered might look at the S.

I see that you've selected "deletion of model designation". If you are sticking with the 2L, I'd suggest adding Sports Tailpipes. The standard exhaust on the 2L is different to all other Macan versions (and is not as attractive).

When I was ordering 18 months ago we were awaiting the announcement of Gen 2 cars, so I could only test drive Gen1 cars. Both base and S have adequate power for UK public roads but I felt there was a big improvement in drivability at town speeds in the S over the base. I have not driven a Gen2 base so I do not know whether the difference I perceived is still present, but as there is little initial and running cost-savings base cf S I would make sure you drive both before finalising order.

Have a look at the S. Much more fun and sounds fantastic for a couple of quid more. No big saving in fuel and BIK is the same.
