Good evening,
Having come to the point of handing back my well spec'd BMW 335d, I am now looking to replace the car with the Macan S Diesel but know little the cars. I have seen many YouTube reviews and they all suggest this is a great car.
Although my BMW was purchased brand new in 2017, i am now looking for a used car but one that has been well cared for, serviced properly and in a suitable spec.
I have 2 cars in mind at the moment and the link for both is as follows:

I prefer the colour black but the blue seems to be better in terms of options. The black has had 1 owner and full dealership history. The blue has had 2 owners with 2 services at dealer and 2 at specialist.
What is the official name of this dark blue metallic? What do you believe is the better option?
All comments and guidance appreciated. I used to have a black boxster S in saphire black so i do have a soft spot for a black Porsche

When I ordered my first Macan in late 2015, the dark blue offering then available was called Night Blue (it’s still currently available). But if I recall correctly, the original dark blue offering on the Macan at launch was a different shade. Not sure which of the two yours might be.
I would be drawn towards the Blue car because of the Adaptive Cruise option!

Is the adaptive cruise option worth having? I liked the idea of the air suspension having watched youtube. Is the ride hugely different without it?Makanik wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 7:52 pm When I ordered my first Macan in late 2015, the dark blue offering then available was called Night Blue (it’s still currently available). How do you find the Macan? Your car looks a lovely example. Any must have options?

I still love my Macan. I have had it from new and haven't found any other car that I would like to buy.
It is quite practical, quite sporty, and fast enough with a feeling of luxury.
The forum will give you an idea of all the options ...hopefully.
Sums up pretty well, same thoughts as above.

Adaptive cruise is amazing, I would definitely spec that again. I have air and like it as I tow my race car, but it would not be a priority for me if I didn’t need to tow anything.

Hi Paul, would suggest lighting no less than Bi-Xenon, you don’t really need air on anything less than 21” wheels and then some would say not at all, although I personally prefer it. PASM is a good middle ground option. £6k of extras on the cars you identify I think on this forum that would be considered low level, lots out there with double for not much extra cost used. Definitely prefer a full Porsche dealership history and if the car is around 30,000 miles check the pads and discs for evidence of replacement as they should be due for change and that’s a big cost at a dealers. If you can stretch to a post March 2016 model there were a few upgrades including LED sidelights improved PCM/SatNav.PaulB wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 7:13 pm Good evening,

Thank you, that's very helpful. I have now seen a particularly nice 66 plate from Silverleaf Cars in yorkshire. Although slightly more expensive, it seems to have nice options and looks to be in very good condition with full dealership history.MikeM wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 2:34 pmHi Paul, would suggest lighting no less than Bi-Xenon, you don’t really need air on anything less than 21” wheels and then some would say not at all, although I personally prefer it.
