Hello all
So I collected my (new to me) 2015 Macan S (35K miles) 10 weeks ago and I've reached my first milestone - I've used a whole half a tank of petrol!!
I guess a sign of current times
It was the week before lockdown when I picked it up and I was already working from home so most of my journeys have been to the supermarket since then
So far I've used the time to:
Admire the build quality and sheer beauty of the car (in my favourite colour combo)
Wash and wax the exterior, condition the leather interior
Thoroughly clean the engine bay
Change the oil and filter
4 new Michelin Latitude Tour HP tyres
Laser tracking alignment
Recondition the battery with CTek
Mobile phone mount and installed power cable under centre console
Rubber floor and boot mats
Leather Porsche key pouch
Replace the polystrene protector beneath the bonnet strut that had been gnawed at by rodents (!)
Find a Cobb AP (secondhand)
Order a Road Hero spare wheel
Currently waiting for:
Trip to dealer for fuel pump safety recall and retrofit power steering plus
And thinking about:
Retrofit Porsche Sports Exhaust
Retrofit running boards (wife is on the short side and struggles to get in easily)
All in all I'm pleased with my work but very much looking forward to getting some serious miles under the belt.

Looking good. Power steering plus is a worthwhile addition. My first two Macans did not have it but my current car does and it feels so much easier at manouvering speed.

Yes the information on this forum has been invaluable so far - PSP being a prime example as previously I had no idea it was available to retrofit.
I have a bad upper back so must admit I do find the steering heavy at low speeds

I’ve always found that side steps or running boards require longer legs to negotiate successfully.

Welcome to the forum.
Given the colour and wheels are the same as mine, you obviously have excellent taste Mind you my summer wheels are still locked away at the OPC.
Did you buy the car from an OPC? Reason for asking is the fact that you've changed the tyres. If the car is an "Approved Porsche" there should have been at least 4mm of tread on the tyres it was sold with.
Hope you get to enjoy it as soon as the present nightmare ends.

I bought privately, knowing that the tyres needed changing but very little else.
The previous owner had a 111 point check done in January and he gave me all the paperwork back to the original order form so I know that it's had transfer box done for instance.
Yes the colour combo is something I was specifically looking for - love the beige and sapphire - and this one came up only 25 miles away from me
