Thanks all for the friendly welcomes, much appreciated. Will try for a few pics and post them. Next question is how amenable are OPC to deal negotiations and/or throwing in a few extras on approved used Guess I’ll get the answer Saturday but feedback/views in advance v welcome....

I was speaking today with someone in the car business.
There has been a surge over the past few days in sales, largely due to pent up demand.
The worry that many have, of course, is that it will not last, and the situation may be very different in one or two month's time as the economic impact of Coronavirus digs deep.
The deals may have to return!

👍

Good “deal”? Did you get any flexibility or were they quite hard on the price?

Pics in due course please 😉

Hi, no not rock hard on price, and got a couple of needed accessories thrown in. For me it was a win win, they got a good price and I got money off plus stuff so I'm happy and so are they. The car has a mixed spec so not all the toys inside but has PASM, Sports plus with Chrono and Porsche Connect+ as well as the OEM electric retractable tow bar, Bose surround, pano roof and other stuff. Plus the night blue metallic colour we both wanted.

On Saturday they put a set of trade plates on the car, gave me the keys, said it was on their insurance and waved me off for a 40 minute drive. So good customer service and wow did I enjoy it. A proper drivers car, and a hoot...

Not sure I was lucky here, but picking up a Dec '19 E Hybrid Cayenne (5k miles) tomorrow...list was £88-£90k but the first owner decided to swap it in and go for a BMW M4 Competition. I reckon the dealer took advantage of this...they had a couple of Cayenne S's in the dealer at about £85k, which is what I'd have expected...they told me they wanted a quick turnaround, but 20% off list after 6 months?? Sounds good...
