I have found a July 2016 Mecan S at Porsche Hatfield for 35K.

Not that many extras but looks like a good starter car. I am not that bothered about a 3 litre but will take it if it is offered.

Would the price reflect the fact that it does not have a very high spec / option?

Sorry to keep asking silly questions!!

Link to the car (in Hatfield) : https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/Macan-S-203100

If I understand correctly, this would have the later PCM 3.1?

Thanks Again for your opinions
Andrew

That's actually a good spec. Low mileage and 1 owner. Maybe lacks a panoramic roof and PASM / Air suspension.

Hatfield can clarify the PCM model for you.

Agreed, it is a reasonable spec low mileage and good price. It does have the later PCM (you can tell by the flat screen, earlier version is recessed). As previously mentioned no PASM but wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. Only surprise is no heated seats but again wouldn't put me off.

When I was looking for my car this is how I differentiated

Early PCM has recessed screen:

Later PCM has flush screen:

Great thanks - I am normally not very interested when looking for a new car but I am quite into looking at these for some reason!?

Maybe I just need a change - I have been driving BMW's (all 3 series ) for over 20 years!!

I am not really a badge person but I must admit the Porsche brand and the Macan I really like (well it is the only one I can afford in reality :))
Having said that it is nice that you do not see lots and lots of Macan's about - when I started driving a 3 series al of those years ago there were not that many around but that it not the case nowadays.

Thanks
Andrew

The difference that stands out to me is all the buttons between the knobs on the latter versus 2 buttons at edge each side wide of knobs on earlier version
