Hi all,

I'd be interested if any of you may know of a well spec'd SD that may be coming up for sale and not already listed as I think I've trawled the entire internet so far and not quite found the 'Goldilocks' car.

It's going to be a motorway cruiser and mountain goat so the usual comfort type specifications are what I'm looking for. Any heads-up would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

This SD is on sale at Porsche Sutton Coldfield. Six months older than the one you were looking at but more comprehensive spec.

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/Mac ... sel-200340

It shows that the price of the car you're looking at is within the "normal" price range for a 2017 car.

That Sutton Coldfield car has a great spec. One of the few diesels I have seen of that age anywhere near my preferred spec plus a view cosmetic additional items. The one item missing from my preferred is adaptive cruise

Take a look at the interior colour combination in the images? - must be an error. description says black leather...

Thanks Peter. I had seen that one but moved on immediately because of the interior colours, but as pointed out, probably (hopefully!) a mistake somehow!!!

I agree pmg, in an ideal world I'd also opt for the adaptive cruise control too, partially for the convenience on long french motorway drives but mostly for the added safety aspect. I spec'd it on my GTI and a couple of times its insisted on braking harder than me, and just that bit quicker too, when a car in front has suddenly braked - and I consider myself a paranoid and safe driver and always try to preempt traffic and keep my distance, even so, nice safety feature.

I think those are photographs from the configurator so not totally reliable years from manufacture

Thank you all for your PMs. In the end I found myself a nice GTS. A different beast but I thought 'why not'?!
